Can I Tell You a Story? by Seferino Ruiz

So you want me to tell you something good? I’m all ears (yours). So just sit back and imagine with me, because I tell stories. I see wondering eyes. Wondering how is the story going to end. I see sleepy eyes from the one who studied too late. I see folklore and myths as a way for my inner medieval villain to pop out. I get up close and personal when I need to get the story across, but more satisfying than all of that is how I love to see your smiles when the magic within a story strike a note in your heart. Anything enough to put a smile on your face means a lot to me and is something worth preserving because the truth of the matter is that smiling in public is a dying practice

I give credit where credit is due and I owe a big thank you to the Almighty of Creation for the gift of storytelling! It seems to be the oldest act of entertainment since Lucifer secretly told his first story – a lie – of how he would ascend past the Almighty. This special gift of storytelling is given to everyone. Truly only those that investigate and find a way to channel this gift have witnessed the same joy that I speak of.

Our Almighty, the Master Storyteller, gave us all the same clean spirit and talent. How many stories have you told? Are you using your spiritual gift of teaching moral or personal experiences? You have to try it! You may save a life. It’s a great way to break the ice with any age group, social group or organization. It’s a 100% all natural instinct and intuition to share a story privately, at a bed side, in an educational setting or publicly.

As a first year student I’m learning from award winning professionals such as Ms. Warren and Mrs. Cole. Let me please also mention all the bright, creative, very talented and beautiful classmates I’ve heard and learned from also. As a storyteller I’ll talk your ears off.  Both of them.  My stories have encouraging, motivational, stern, heart-felt, eye-opening incidents. Some are maybe too dark for class but they speak truth, tell of lessons learned, and overall show people the true path to spiritual freedom and discovery. Don’t quench your spirit. I encourage you to seek someone you can inspire through a good story. Telling doesn’t end with us but will forever and ever carry on and on and on.
