No? Well, it has been. It’s a cold rain, with wind. The worst part was when I was trying to preserve my hairdo while walking down O’Connell Street to the Dublin Yarnspinners on Parnell Square wearing adorable sandals with little leather flowers studded with tiny crystal beads that I bought especially for the occasion while the rain was coming at me sideways. While I was walking that is – not while I was buying. Just thought I should mention it since earlier in the month I had been complaining about the heat. Now I’m sleeping with socks on my feet under a comforter and wearing six layers during the day. Several Irish people have said, "Sure, nobody comes to Ireland for the weather". But I actually did come for the weather, amongst other things, and I say you gotta love it. That’s what we’re here for and I’ll take it over 113 degrees any day. Hairdo and flashy sandals bedamned! And believe me, the hairdo, especially the hairdo, is.
